Touchscreen Wireless Router

Touchscreen wireless router that eliminates the need to connect to the router with a computer in order to change settings. Basically you can use the in-built operating system and a touchscreen on the side of it to change router settings, whereas typically you would need to use the routers IP address to access such settings. Very cool.

Positives

This really is a great product given its price point. Not only is it a wireless router but it allows settings access via a touchscreen all for under $90. Pretty amazing. I know that I am meant to be reviewing the item and so should have a degree of neutrality but some products are just so awesome it is hard to really do anything but fawn over them.

Negatives

I can only see one negative with the device and that is that it is not also a modem. It would have been nice if it were also an ADSL or Cable modem because then it would be the perfect one stop device. The simplicity of that would have simply been amazing. I suppose most people tend to have their own existing networks already and will not notice this issue so much, but all the same it would have been nice.

Overall

Very cool idea that will undoubtedly become the standard for routers and modems. They should have had touch screen setting changes long ago, where were you on this one Steve jobs? Anyway, good product.
