LED Light Tray

LED light serving tray great for parties and that sort of thing. It certainly would be great at a rave, particularly if the tray were cycling through its colors!

Features:

• Red, green and blue LED lights that can be set to alternate or even for only a single color to show.
• Powered by three AA batteries (not included, shame on you manufacturer!!)
• Has about 20 hours of battery life, which is pretty nice I must say.
• It can also be powered by a 4.5V DC adapter but who would power a serving tray with a cord? I guess some people obviously but I would not. ( it turns out people use this item as a base for pot plans which might explain the cord power.)

This item is a very nice, sleek and classy item that really can fit in well at parties, raves or even more sophisticated events. The best part about the item, as you have no doubt noticed from the photos, is that the lights are bright enough to create wonderful effects on the food and glasses held on the tray.

One potential negative of the item is that the bowl itself is plastic. While it is a quality plastic of the kind you might find in Tupperware, it could very well have been a nice glass item. I suppose this would have increased the cost of it though which would perhaps make it a less viable product, but oh well.

The other negative is that it is not rechargeable, instead requiring batteries. This is the number one complaint about the item on Amazon and I see their point as a power adapter can be plugged into it. If they had just included a rechargeable battery system within then the item would be dramatically improved. Probably improved enough to pretty much be a five out of five item.
